Nope! A dry flush toilet uses no water to "flush" waste. These toilets wrap waste in a plastic or foil pouch with every use, keeping things out of sight and minimizing odor. These systems are popular for their cleanliness but can generate a lot of waste, require proprietary refills, and often rely on electricity to function.
The S1 Dry Flush Sealing Toilet, takes this idea further with a more eco-conscious design. It uses a battery-powered internal mechanism to seal waste hygienically—without exposing it to view—while keeping liquids separate. Unlike traditional sealing systems that rely solely on wrapping everything together, the S1 utilizes urine diversion to reduce smell, extend use time, and limit environmental impact.
